Referrers

We are the first radiotherapy a department in the Netherlands to offer both photon radiotherapy and proton therapy. Not all patients are eligible to receive proton therapy. These pages (see the left-hand column) provide information about our how you can refer a patient to us for radiotherapy treatment. The photon therapy referral procedure differs from the proton therapy referral procedure.

It is important to us that your initial consultation and the start of your treatment take place as soon as possible. Our department follows and fulfills the guidelines of the Dutch Association for Radiotherapy and Oncology (NVRO) regarding the time between referral and the start of your treatment.
